Evidence Maps

In conducting an evidence map, we

  • Systematically source, assess and organise a body of knowledge to provide a high-level overview of the size and nature of the available evidence in order to inform and facilitate the use of this evidence-base.
  • Provide policymakers with an overview of where research evidence and gaps are and the quality of the available evidence.
  • Provide size, type, location and nature of evidence are shown as an interactive visual interface
  • The visual interface is designed to enable easy user (policymakers, practitioners and civil society) engagement, with what can be a complex body of evidence

Example of a question: What are the strategies that may strengthen provision of mental health care at Primary Health Care level?

Product: Visual map of evidence on the causes of a problem, or the interventions that have been used to try to solve the problem
