The MHSAR research team met in Nijmegen from the 26th of June to the 30th of June to conceptualise and write joint papers from their work on the interface between the health system and maternal health across the 3 research sites (Eastern Cape, Gauteng, and Rwanda). The result was 4 papers conceived, with outlines and early drafts shared among members for inputs. MHSAR researchers have since continued the writing process after the workshop and these will culminate in publications in peer reviewed journals soon.
